Enabling NI integration in the Manager consists of the following two tasks:
Configuring a Client Group created on the NI appliance in the Manager
Enabling association of the Client Group configured on the Manager at the domain level or device level.
When any Client Group created on an NI appliance has been configured on the Manager, you can enable its association per domain or per device to complete the task of NI integration in the Manager. The → → → → page allows you to configure the Client Group(s) in the Manager and enable their association at the domain level.

The following tabs are available in the NI Integration page of the Manager at the Global level:
Callout | Tabs | Definition |
|---|---|---|
1 | Client Group Configuration | This tab enables you to configure one or more Client Group(s) created on any NI appliance with the Manager. Using this tab, you can add, edit, or delete the Client Groups as per your requirement. After a Client Group is successfully added and saved in the Manager, you can enable its association at the domain or device level. |
2 | Client Group Association | This tab allows you to enable the association any Client group already configured on the Manager at the domain level. If you enable the association of the Client Group at the admin domain level, all child domains and Sensors attached to the parent and child domains inherit the same NI integration settings. You can also customize the NI integration settings per domain from this tab by selecting the required domain and assigning any Client Group with different configurations to it as per your requirement. In this case, the Sensor(s) inherit the NI integration settings as per the Client Group assigned to the domain those are attached to. |
If you want, You can also enable the association of separate Client Groups with different configurations for specific Sensors from the → → → → → → tab as per your network requirement.
Important
Configuring the Client Group(s) created on the NI appliance in the Manager is mandatory for enabling their association at the domain or device level. You can configure the required Client Group in the Manager using the → → → → → tab, or can perform the same task from the Client Group Association tabs available at both Global and Device levels.
