Enabling and disabling frontend loopback using the CLI

Use the Network Security appliance CLI to enable and disable frontend loopback.

Prerequisites

  • Admin or Operator access to the Network Security appliance.

To enable the frontend loopback troubleshooting functionality:
  1. Log in to the appliance CLI and go to configuration mode:

    hostname > enable
    hostname # configure terminal
  2. Enable frontend loopback:

    hostname (config) # fedp loopback frontend enable
  3. Confirm your change:

    hostname (config) # show fedp loopback status
To disable the frontend loopback troubleshooting functionality:
  1. Log in to the appliance CLI and go to configuration mode:

    hostname > enable
    hostname # configure terminal
  2. Disable the frontend loopback:

    hostname (config) # no fedp loopback frontend enable
  3. Confirm your change:

    hostname (config) # show fedp loopback status
