Enabling the static analysis feature using the CLI

Static analysis is enabled by default on the Intelligent Virtual Execution - Server appliance. Static analysis uses all of the enabled static analysis components listed in Static Analysis .

Note

Static analysis is enabled by default. You can disable or re-enable it using the CLI only.

Prerequisites

  • Operator or Admin access

To enable static analysis:

  1. Go to CLI configuration mode.

    vx-hostname > enable vx-hostname # configure terminal

  2. Enable static analysis on the appliance.

    vx-hostname (config) # static-analysis enable

  3. Verify the status that static analysis is enabled on the compute node.

    vx-hostname (config) # show static-analysis configStatic Analysis enabled               : yes

      AV-suite version                     : 6
