Export SSL certificate data to an external flash

If the Sensor is up and running, type shutdown from the Sensor CLI.

Answer Y to the confirmation question.

Wait a minute, and then turn off the Sensor.

Insert the compact flash into the external flash receptacle on the Sensor (see the corresponding Trellix Intrusion Prevention System Sensor Product Guide for an illustration of the location of the external flash port).

Turn on the system.

Log on to the Manager.

Once the connection and trust to the Manager is established, type

exportSensorcerts from the Sensor CLI. This exports all certificate data to the external flash.

Once done, repeat the shutdown procedure as described in Step 1 through Step 3.

Remove the external compact flash.

Caution

Never remove or insert the compact flash when the Sensor is turned on.
