In order to integrate Trellix IPS with NI, you need to first create a Client Profile and map it to a Client Group using the NI Command Line Interface (CLI). You can then enable the configuration and association of the Client Group created on the NI CLI in the Manager. Trellix IPS - Trellix NI integration includes the following steps:
Creating Client Profile and Client Group on the NI appliance
Configuring Client Group created on the NI appliance in the Manager
Enabling association of any Client Group configured in the Manager at the domain level or device level.
Caution
All the integration steps stated above are mandatory to establish successful communication between Trellix IPS and Trellix NI.
