Associates a hostname with an IP address.

Syntax

[no] ip hosthostname ip_address

Parameters

`hostname`	Hostname. You can specify multiple host/address mappings (one per command).
`ip_address`	IP address of the hostname.
`no`	Deletes the host-to-address mapping.

Example

The following example maps “myhost” to the specified IP address.

hostname (config) # ip host myhost 10.10.20.11
