Enables the indicated policy for a specified chain, or resets the chain to its default policy. All of the rules on this chain override the default rules.

Syntax

[no] ipv6 filter chain <chain> policy <policy>

Parameters

no

Disables the policy for the specified chain.

chain

Specifies the filter chain containing the policy you want to enable or disable.

policy

Specifies the policy you want to enable or disable.

Example

The following example enables the ACCEPT-1 policy for the OUTPUT filter chain.

hostname (config) # ipv6 filter chain <OUTPUT> policy <ACCEPT-1>
