Loop operator

Prev Next

The Loop operator enables the execution of a set of subsequent actions multiple times, either by iterating over a Data Set or by running a defined number of times based on a numerical Range. This operator is fundamental for handling iterative processing tasks within a workflow.

Perform these steps to configure the Loop operator in your workflow:

  1. Drag and drop the Loop operator onto the workflow canvas.

  2. Click the operator to open the properties pane.

  3. In the Name field, enter a descriptive name for the loop operator.

  4. In the Description field, add details about the loop operation.

  5. Under Set Loop Parameters, use the Loop drop-down to select the iteration type:

    1. On: Select this option to iterate through the items of a data set.

    2. Range: Select this option to define a numerical range for a specified number of iterations.

  6. If On is selected, specify the Data Set to iterate over in the corresponding field, or use $ for suggestions.

  7. If Range is selected, define the numerical range (Start, Stop, and Step) for the loop iteration.

  8. Click Save.
