TQL syntax supports the following for numbers:

  • Negative “-“ and positive “+” signs

  • Exponent as ‘e’ or ‘E’

  • Fraction as ‘.’ digit

  • Fraction exponent as ‘fracexp’

Important

Encapsulate all string patterns in quotation marks. For example, using an e or E in a number that is not encapsulated will convert the numbers that follow the exponent to an exponential value. For more information, see Quotes.
