The Performance Charts displays the various metrics in graphical format. With release 10.1, some enhancements have been made to the Performance Charts for easy and in-depth view of the metrics. You can also zoom into certain points in the chart which provides more clarity of the metric selected. You can also customize the time period for which you want to view the data.
Following are the enhancements in the Performance Charts page:
- Previously only summarized data for an hour was displayed for all metrics by default. Following are the options to view the data based on your requirement:
- Summarized — Displays the summarized data for an hour for the metric selected. You can view the maximum, average, and minimum values for the summarized data.
- Raw — Displays the average of three minute intervals of data points.
The data for both options are displayed for the last 48 hours by default. You can change the time period selection or customize the time period based on your requirement.
Note
The time period selected is persisted and applied to all the charts.
To view the details of the selected metric, you can highlight a section of the chart. The page refreshes to display data for the portion of the chart selected. The Zoom Out option restores the chart to the previous size.
A new Actions option is available at the bottom of the page. The following options are present under the Actions option:
- Save as Image File (PNG) — This allows you to save the charts as an image file in SENSORNAME-METRIC_Performance-YYYYMMDD_hhmm.PNG format.
- Manage Performance Metric Collection — Navigates to Devices → <Admin Domain Name> → Devices → <Device Name> → Setup → Performance Monitoring → Summary. You can edit the performance metrics collected.
- Manage Performance Data Storage — Navigates to Manager → <Admin Domain Name> → Maintenance → Database Pruning → File and Database Pruning. You can edit the settings for the storage of performance data.
