Process management

The NDR Series appliance includes commands to debug the system. You can start, stop, restart, and show the status of individual processes in KLISH. Shell access is not required to debug issues. In addition to controlling the lifecycle of the application, you can also follow the logs for individual component or choose to dump all the logs.

The following commands are available for process management:

Description

process dump <Processname>

Dumps the last 1000 entries from the log.

process manage <processname> <operation>

Manages the process lifecycle. The available operations are:

  • start

  • stop

  • restart

  • status

process tail <processname>

Tails the log for the process. To exit the tail command, enter press CTRL-C.
