Trellix's IAC-QSFP28LR-FOT Quad Small Factor Pluggable (QSFP28) transceiver modules are designed for use in 100 Gbps links over single mode fiber. They are compliant with QSFP28 MSA and IEEE 802.3bm 100GBASE-LR4.

Main features of the QSFP28 module include the following:

  • Hot-pluggable QSFP28 form factor

  • Four-Channel full-duplex transceiver module

  • Maximum link length of 10 km on SMF

  • Supports 103.1 Gbps aggregated bit rate - 4 channels of 25 Gbps WDM (wave-division multiplexing)

  • Supports Trellix ID feature that helps enable NS-series Sensor to identify whether the module is a Trellix certified and tested QSFP28
