Perform the following steps if you need to remove a transceiver.
Disconnect the network fiber-optic cable from the transceiver.
Release the transceiver from the slot by pulling the bail clasp out of its locked position.
Slide the transceiver out of the slot.
Insert the transceiver plug into the optical bore for protection.
