Remove test database

Perform the following steps to remove the 'test" database from the server.

1. Log in to the MariaDB prompt and execute the command to enter the mysql schema.

MariaDB [none]> use mysql;

2. Backup db table to db_backup before changing it.

MariaDB [mysql]> create table db_backup as select * from db;

3. Validate that the backup table was created and row count matches that of the mysql.db table.

MariaDB [mysql]> select count(*) from db_backup;

4. Check all the databases on the Manager server.

MariaDB [mysql]> show databases;

5. Remove the test db.

MariaDB [mysql]> drop database test;

6. The test database should no longer be listed.

MariaDB [mysql]> show databases;
