Secure the power cable using the cable tie

The power supply units in NS7600 Sensor come preinstalled with a cable tie or lock to hold the power cables securely and prevent accidental disconnection. Each cable tie comprises of one clamp, a strap to fasten or loosen the tie, and a notch.

Perform the following steps to secure the power cable using the cable tie:

  1. Pull the notch UP to disengage the clamp from the strap.

  2. Grab the notch UP with your thumb and push down the clamp with your forefinger. Stop close to the bottom of the strip.

  3. Plug in the power cable and spread the clamp apart enough so that you can insert the power cable into it.

  4. Now, hold the end of the strip with one hand while pushing the clamp UP with other hand toward the base of the power cable till the clamp sits tightly at the base.

The power cable is now securely tied to the power supply unit.
