This command, when executed, sets the DNS protection mode.

Syntax

set dnsprotect <inbound/inbound-outbound/ip-based/off/outbound>

Parameter

Description

<inbound>

sets the DNS protection mode to 'inbound'

<inbound-outbound>

sets the DNS protection mode to 'inbound-outbound'

<ip-based>

sets the DNS protection mode to 'ip-based'

<off>

turns off the DNS protection mode

<outbound>

sets the DNS protection mode to 'outbound'

Note

The list of protected destination IP addresses can be edited irrespective of this setting.
