Turning the Sensor on and off

Note

Do not attempt to turn on the Sensor until you have installed the Sensor in a rack and made all the necessary network connections.

Steps:

  1. Connect the power cable to the Sensor power inlet.

  2. Connect the power cable to a power source.

    Trellix recommends that you use the shutdownCLI command to halt the Sensor before turning it off. For more information on CLI commands, see the CLI commands section in Trellix Intrusion Prevention System Product Guide.

  3. Press the power button to turn on the Sensor.
