Uninstall Azure components

After you delete the virtual machines for the Manager or Virtual IPS Sensor, the infrastructure deployed with the virtual machines is not deleted automatically. When you deploy the Manager or Virtual IPS Sensor, the following infrastructure components are created along with the virtual machines:

  • Disk

  • Public IP address

  • Network interface

  • Network security group

The virtual machine and the infrastructure components have to be deleted manually. The virtual machine has to be deleted first, followed by the infrastructure components.

If you have deployed a virtual machine scale set, the following components are created along with the scale set:

  • Load balancer

  • Load balancer public IP address

When you delete the virtual machine scale sets, you must delete the infrastructure components as well. The virtual machine has to be deleted first, followed by the infrastructure components.
