Upgrading members of a Network Security HA pair

You cannot upgrade a Network Security HA pair as a single unit. You should upgrade the appliances one at a time to prevent any interruption in detection. When you reboot one of the Network Security appliances, all detection fails over to the peer appliance. A "software version match" warning message will be displayed until both appliances are upgraded to the same version of the Network Security software image.
