vIPS Probe scalability
The Controller supports up to 10,000 vIPS Probe connections per Controller.
The results are based on the following test conditions:
- Controller type: External Controller
- Cloud platform: AWS
- Instance type: c4.xlarge (4 core VCPU , 8GB memory) or equivalent
Note
In the event of a large deployment with more than 200 vIPS Probes, Trellix recommends you to deploy an External Controller.

- Operating System: Amazon Linux 2
- Instance type: c5.xlarge (4 core VCPU , 8GB memory)
