XC cable connection issues for M8000 Sensors

XC cable connection issues can occur in the M8000 Sensors due to improper cabling of XFP interconnect ports (XC2, XC3, XC5 and XC6).

Check the following connections in the M8000 Sensors while facing such issues.

  • One end of an LC-LC fiber-optic cable should be plugged into the XC2 port of the primary Sensor and the other end of the cable to be plugged into the XC5 port of the secondary Sensor.
  • One end of an LC-LC fiber-optic cable should be plugged into the XC3 port of the primary Sensor and the other end of the cable to be plugged into the XC6 port of the secondary Sensor.
