You can upgrade to Trellix Agent 5.8.x on the client systems using multiple deployment methods. Before upgrading to the latest version of Trellix Agent, make sure you update the extensions and software packages on the ePO - On-prem server.

  1. Update the Trellix Agent extensions and software packages.

  2. Upgrade to Trellix Agent 5.8.x using one of the following methods:

  • You can update the Trellix Agent key updater package while upgrading Trellix Agent to a new version.

  • The DXL client automatically upgrades when Trellix Agent is upgraded. For more information, see Upgrading the DXL client.
