Upgrade Trellix EDR client using ePO - On-prem

Install a newer version of the Trellix EDR client on managed systems to upgrade clients.

Note

Upon installation or upgrade of the Trellix EDR client, you might have to reboot the client system.

  1. Log on to ePO - On-prem as administrator.

  2. Select Menu → Software → Product Deployment, then click New Deployment.

  3. Enter a name and description for the deployment task.

  4. Select the appropriate Trellix EDR client package for Windows, Linux, or macOS endpoints as the software package.

  5. Select Individual Systems.

  6. From System Tree, on the System Selection page, select the devices where you want to deploy the Trellix EDR client, then click OK.

  7. Click Run Immediately to start the deployment task immediately.

  8. Click Save.
