Stop Agent Handler and ePO - On-prem services

If you use Agent Handlers in your environment, you must stop Trellix services on each Agent Handler server before the upgrade.

  • Complete all steps in the Pre-upgrade checklist.

  1. Stop Remote Agent Handler services.

    1. Press Windows+R, type services.msc, then click OK.

    2. Stop the ePolicy Orchestrator Server Service and ePolicy Orchestrator Event Parser Service.

  2. Stop ePO - On-prem services.

    1. Press Windows+R, type services.msc, then click OK.

    2. Stop these services:

    • ePolicy Orchestrator Server Service

    • ePolicy Orchestrator Event Parser Service

    • ePolicy Orchestrator Application Server

  3. Start the ePolicy Orchestrator Application Server service.
