Configure preferences

You can configure header and footer, output limits, and language from the Manager or Central Manager using the Manager → <Admin Domain Name> → Reporting → Preferences page. The Preferences page includes three tabs: Header & Footer, Language, and Output Limits

The tabs in the Preferences page in the Central Manager are similar to the ones in the Manager.

Set headers and footers

Do the following to edit the header and footer settings for reports:

Go to the Header & Footer tab in the Preferences page and click .
The configuration options for header and footer are displayed.
Configure the following fields:
- Header for generated reports:
  - Text: Enter the required text that should appear in the report header.
  - Image: Click Browse and select an image/logo that should appear in the report header. The logo should be 175×65 pixels in size. The image formats supported are JPEG, JPG, and PNG.
  - Trellix Logo (Default): The Trellix logo is displayed by default.
    Note
    Anyone of the above-mentioned options can be selected during header configuration.
  - Header Right Detail: Enter the text that you want to display at the right of the report header.
- Footer for generated reports: Select the content that you to display in the right, middle, and left of the report footer. Available options for configuration are: [None], Page Number, Date/Time, and Text.
Click Save.

Set language preference

Do the following to select the language to be used in reports:

Go to the Language tab in the Preferences page.
Select a Language from the drop-down list. Options are: English, Japanese, Korean, Chinese Traditional, and Chinese Simplified.
Click Save. The selected language will be applied across all reports.

Configure Output Limits

To edit the output limits settings:

Steps:

Go to the Output Limits tab in the Preferences page.
Set a limit for Maximum number of records return per query.The default limit is 5000.
Click Save.
