Configuring the VPC within an AWS endpoint using the Web UI

Use the Helix Configuration area in the Evidence Collector page to configure the Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) within an Amazon Web Services (AWS) endpoint on the Trellix appliance. The appliance sends the network event logs to Helix in the AWS endpoint that you specified for further analysis.

To configure the VPC within an AWS endpoint:
  1. In the Web UI, choose Settings > Evidence Collector.

  2. Click Helix Integration.

  3. In the VPC Hostname field, enter the hostname of the VPC within an AWS endpoint.

    Enter the hostname in the format <customer_instance>.receiver.apps.fireeye.com. Port 443 is the default.
