If an MVX-verified event includes a data theft, the Network Security appliance displays a color-coded badge in the Alerts tab of the Web UI. The Data Theft badge is displayed in the Alerts > Alerts > Hosts page and the Alerts > Alerts > Alerts page.
In the Alerts > Alerts > Hosts page, you can click a Data Theft badge to display a filtered alerts view for a particular source IP address. The same total number of malware events for the particular host is displayed on the Alerts > Alerts > Hosts page.
Note
You cannot click a Data Theft badge from the Alerts > Alerts > Alerts page.
In the Alerts > Alerts > Alerts page, you can drill down from the Data Theft badged alert listing. The Data Theft Details section displays the number of items that were stolen or targeted for theft.
