Database Pruning

Steps:

For more information, see ipsmanager database prune in the CLI commands section of the Trellix Intrusion Prevention System Product Guide.

1. Log in to the Manager shell using a console client with the credentials below:

   • Username: admin

   • Password: admin

2. Stop the Manager service using no ipsmanager enable command in Manager shell.

3. Execute  ipsmanager database prune command in the Manager shell.

   The database pruning process will be initiated. You can run show ipsmanager database prune status to check the progress.
