Enabling and disabling context service using the CLI

Follow these steps to enable or disable context service.

Prerequisites

To enable or disable context service:
  1. Enable or disable the context service.

    To enable the service, use the smartvision context-svc enable command:

    hostname (config) # smartvision context-svc enable
    Enabling SmartVision.

    To disable the service, use the no form of the command:

    hostname (config) # no smartvision context-svc enable
    Enabling SmartVision.
  2. Verify your configuration change.

    In the following example, both and the context service are enabled.

    hostname (config) # show smartvision status
    SmartVision State
            Detection                      : yes
            Context Service                : running
            .
            .
            .
    hostname (config) # show smartvision config
    
    SmartVision Config
    
            Detection Enabled             : yes
            Context service enabled       : yes
