Enabling or disabling a GRE traffic whitelist using the CLI

Use the CLI commands in this procedure to enable or disable a GRE traffic whitelist.

To enable a GRE traffic whitelist:
  1. Go to CLI configuration mode.

    hostname > enable hostname # configure terminal

  2. Enable the GRE traffic whitelist.

    hostname (config) # policymgr whitelist gre enable

  3. Save your changes.

    hostname (config) # write memory

  4. Verify the status of a GRE traffic whitelist.

    hostname (config) # show policymgr whitelist configGeneric Routing Encapsulation packet whitelist enabled: yes Port Based whitelist enabled: no

To disable a GRE traffic whitelist:
  1. Go to CLI configuration mode.

    hostname > enable hostname # configure terminal

  2. Disable the GRE traffic whitelist.

    hostname (config) # no policymgr whitelist gre enable

  3. Save your changes.

    hostname (config) # write memory

  4. Verify the status of a GRE traffic whitelist.

    hostname (config) # show policymgr whitelist configGeneric Routing Encapsulation packet whitelist enabled: no Port Based whitelist enabled: no
