Enabling or Disabling a Port Whitelist Using the CLI

Use the CLI commands in this procedure to enable or disable a port whitelist.

To enable a port whitelist:
  1. Go to CLI configuration mode.

    hostname > enable hostname # configure terminal
  2. Enable the port whitelist.

    hostname (config) # policymgr whitelist port enable
  3. Save your changes.

    hostname (config) # write memory
  4. Verify the status of the port whitelist.

    hostname (config) # show policymgr whitelist config Generic Routing Encapsulation packet whitelist enabled: yes Port Based whitelist enabled: yes
To disable a port whitelist:
  1. Go to CLI configuration mode.

    hostname > enable hostname # configure terminal
  2. Disable the port whitelist.

    hostname (config) # no policymgr whitelist port enable
  3. Save your changes.

    hostname (config) # write memory
  4. Verify the status of the port whitelist.

    hostname (config) # show policymgr whitelist config Generic Routing Encapsulation packet whitelist enabled: yes Port Based whitelist enabled: no
