Use the CLI commands in this section to start or stop collecting statistics for SSL interception traffic on the Network Security appliance.
Prerequisites
Administrator access to the Network Security appliance.
Verify that SSL interception is configured and enabled. For details about how to enable SSL interception, see Enabling or disabling SSL interception using the Web UI or Enabling or disabling SSL interception using the CLI .
Verify that SSL session logging has been enabled. For details about how to enable the collection of SSL flow statistics, see Enabling or disabling SSL session logging using the CLI .
hostname (config) # show session-logger status Status : enabled Listening State: Ready Module Name : Status ------------------------ ssl : ON
The "ssl" line displays "ON" if the SSL flow statistics collection is enabled for SSL interception traffic.
Go to CLI configuration mode.
hostname > enable hostname # configure terminal
Start collecting statistics on SSL interception traffic.
hostname (config) # session-logger ssl enable
Verify the status of statistics collection on SSL interception traffic.
Go to CLI configuration mode.
hostname > enable hostname # configure terminal
Stop collecting statistics on SSL interception traffic.
hostname (config) # no session-logger ssl enable
Verify the status of statistics collection on SSL interception traffic.
hostname (config) # show session-logger status Status : enabled Listening State: Ready Module Name : Status ------------------------ ssl : OFF
The "ssl" line displays "OFF" if the SSL flow statistics collection is disabled for SSL interception traffic.
