To enable or disable the ICAP blocking comfort page on a Network Security appliance using the CLI, use the [no] icap-service block-mode response-page enable command.
Prerequisites
Administrator access to the Network Security appliance
Go to CLI configuration mode.
hostname > enable hostname # configure terminal
Enable the ICAP blocking comfort page.
hostname (config) # icap-service block-mode response-page enable
Verify the status of the ICAP blocking comfort page.
hostname (config) # show icap-service config ICAP Configuration: ICAP enabled : yes Interface : ether1 Request Mod Enabled : yes Response Mod Enabled : yes Block-mode Enabled : yes Response-page Enabled : yes . . .
The "Response-page Enabled" line displays "yes" if the IICAP blocking comfort page is enabled for ICAP blocking.
Save your changes.
hostname (config) # write memory
Go to CLI configuration mode.
hostname > enable hostname # configure terminal
Disable the ICAP blocking comfort page.
hostname (config) # no icap-service block-mode response-page enable
Verify the status of the ICAP blocking comfort page.
hostname (config) # show icap-service config ICAP Configuration: ICAP enabled : yes Interface : ether1 Request Mod Enabled : yes Response Mod Enabled : yes Block-mode Enabled : no Response-page Enabled : no . . .
The "Response-page Enabled" line displays "no" if the ICAP blocking comfort page is disabled for ICAP blocking.
