Use the show icap-service stats command in this topic to view the collected statistics based on ICAP traffic that is monitored on the Network Security appliance. Details of the statistics for the ICAP service include the following:
Number of request modifications (REQMOD) that were received for the ICAP service on the Network Security appliance.
Number of request modifications blocked.
Number of response modifications (RESPMOD) that were received for the ICAP service on the Network Security appliance.
Number of response modifications blocked.
Total number of request and response modifications that were received for the ICAP service on the Network Security appliance.
Number of request and response modifications that were received per second for the ICAP service on the Network Security appliance.
Total number of HTTP flow packets that were decapsulated from ICAP traffic and submitted for analysis.
Administrator, Operator, Monitor, or Analyst access to the Network Security appliance.
Make sure that the third-party device settings are configured so that the device can act as an ICAP client. For details about the prerequisites for the ICAP client configuration, see ICAP client configuration prerequisites.
You have enabled the ICAP service on the ADD Product Series appliance. For details about how to enable the ICAP service, seeEnabling or disabling ICAP service Using the Web UI or Enabling or disabling ICAP service using the CLI.
You have enabled the request modification mode or response modification mode. You have configured the ICAP service settings so that the Network Security appliance can run an ICAP server. Go to CLI enable mode.

View the statistics collected for the ICAP service.
