Install Trellix IVX using Trellix Intelligent Sandbox web UI

  1. Download the migration package atdtoivxmigration.msu from Downloads portal using a valid grant number.

  2. Upload the package to your Intelligent Sandbox appliance through SFTP using an atdadmin account.

  3. Log on to the Intelligent Sandbox web interface.

  4. Select Manage → Image & Software → Software.

  5. In System Software, select the migration package and click Install. A confirmation message is displayed.

  6. Click OK. The installation process begins after the appliance is rebooted.

The migration to IVX takes approximately 15-20 minutes, depending on hardware specifications. Meanwhile, you can monitor the migration progress and check the migration status from the Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM) console.

Note

You must avoid rebooting, powering off or resetting the system until IVX login does not appear.
