When you integrate Trellix IPS and IVX, both the Manager and Sensor communicate with the sandbox separately. You have to configure the IVX details for all the required Sensors and then enable the integration.
If you want to configure multiple Sensors with the same sandbox, you can specify the details at the admin domain and inherit the settings at the Sensor level. This saves you the trouble of having to configure the same details multiple times. If required, you can also customize the inherited settings for the required Sensors.
Important
Before you proceed with the integration of one or more IVX appliances with Trellix IPS at the admin domain level and the Sensor level, make sure that a cluster is configured in IVX and node role is set to broker. For more information, refer to the relevant IVX Administration Guide.
