This CLI allows you to configure the public and private IP addresses for the NIC interfaces.

Syntax: interface ether1 ip address <IP address><netmask> and interface ether2 ip address <IP address><netmask>

The following table lists the parameters:

Parameter

Description

IP address

Provide the required IP address to configure the Manager appliance.

netmask

Provide the netmask for an IP address.

Sample Output:

IPSManager (config) # interface ether1 ip address 1.1.1.4 255.255.255.0
IPSManager (config) # show configuration

   interface ether1 create
   interface ether1 comment ""
no interface ether1 dhcp
   interface ether1 display

Tip

To enable the IPv6 address, execute the command: interface ether1 ipv6 enable and interface ether2 ipv6 enable.
