This CLI allows you to configure an IPv6 address.

Syntax: interface ether1 ipv6 address <IPv6 addr>/<len>

The following table lists the parameters:

<IPv6 addr>/<len>

Provide the required IPv6 address to configure the Manager appliance.

Example: 2001:db8:1234::5678/64

Sample Output:

IPSManager (config) #  interface ether1 ipv6 address 2001:db8:1234::5678/64

Tip

  • To automatically configure the IPv6 address, execute the command: interface ether1 ipv6 address autoconfig default.

  • To enable the IPv6 address, execute the command: interface ether1 ipv6 enable and interface ether2 ipv6 enable.

  • To configure the IPv6 gateway, execute the command: ipv6 default-gateway 2001:db8:1234:5678::252.
