License requirement for NS9600 Sensor failover

If you are using NS9600 Sensors in fail-over pair, you can obtain and assign a license with higher throughput to increase the throughput of the Sensor. Contact Trellix Sales to procure the license. The license is provided as a .zip or .jar file. The Manager supports both formats. The license procured contains the details of the throughput for the Sensors.

120 Gbps throughput license is required for a NS9600 stack (2-node). You can add and assign any combination of licenses available for NS9600 to achieve the throughput requirement of 120 Gbps per stack for failover in stacked Sensors. If you are using NS9600 stack in fail-over setup, you can combine and assign multiple licenses of different capacity to achieve the throughput of 120 Gbps per stack.

The table below shows the capacity licenses available for the NS9600 Sensor failover:

You can upload and assign the license from the Licenses page (Manager → <Admin Domain Name> → Setup → Licenses) or, Device Manager page (Devices → <Admin Domain Name> → Global → Device Manager) in the Manager.

Important

You can assign licenses to NS9600 stacked Sensors, or stacked Sensors in fail-over pair only from the Devices → <Admin Domain> → Global → Device Manager page. For more information, see License requirement for NS9600 Sensors.

Note

Upgrade capacity licenses are not available for NS9600 Sensors.
