The Operational dashboard shows summary information about how effectively your Helix environment is operating. The operational dashboard shows the following information:
Widget | Description |
|---|---|
System Health | Shows the overall health of the Trellix appliances in your environment. The number on the left shows the total number of connected appliances and number on the right shows the total number of appliances, including appliances that are disconnected. The colored status icon identifies the most critical status of the appliances in that category. The status are:
|
Current BPS | Shows the average bytes per second (BPS) for the sensors in your environment from five minutes ago. By default, the combined BPS for all sensors in your environment is shown. You can select a specific sensor from the drop-down menu. BPS is calculated by dividing the total number of bytes sent to Helix as of five minutes ago by 300 seconds. If the result is less than 1000, it is truncated to a whole number (999.9 becomes 999). If the result is greater than 1000, it is rounded normally and units are added (3550.3 becomes 3.6k). Sensors that have been disconnected for more than seven days are not included in the calculation. |
Historical BPS | Shows the total number of bytes and the average BPS for sensors over the past 30 or 31 days, depending on the time of day. Between 00:00 UTC and 01:00 UTC, the widget shows the average over the past 30 days as it finalizes the data for the first hour of the day. After 01:00 UTC the widget shows the average over the past 31 days. By default, the historical BPS for all sensors in your environment is shown. You can select a specific sensor from the drop-down menu. Hover over a point in the graph to display data for each day and for more granular tracking, move the Month Day toggle to Day. |
Sensors Needing Attention | Shows the sensors in your environment that need attention. Sensors include Cloud Collector with managed Communication Broker as well as unmanaged Communication Broker. Sensors that have been disconnected for more than seven days are not shown. Sensor health data is collected only for the latest versions of standalone Cloud Collector and Communication Broker. Sensors integrated with MVX Smart Grid, Cloud MVX, or Packet Capture appliances are not included. Click Download Certificate to download the bootstrap and CA certificate needed for unmanaged Communication Broker. For more information about how to install these files on your unmanaged Communication Broker, see the Unmanaged Communication Broker Sender Installation and Configuration Guide. |
