In certain instances, the Sensor stays in bad or uninitialized health state indefinitely. The bad health of the Sensor could be due to signature file download failure, or error while starting the Sensor.
You can perform the following high-level troubleshooting steps to trace the error:
Execute the following commands and check the output for any errors:
showstatusshow sensor healthshow startup stats
Check if the hardware is connected correctly.
Check the InfoCollector tool for logs and the configuration backup.
Check if the issue is due to signature file download failure. If it is due to the aforementioned error, contact Trellix Support for further assistance.

Check if the issue is due to a corrupt flash. Execute the
flashcheckdebug CLI command. Confirm that the output does not have any errors.Checking Flash may take more than 15 minutes and Sensor will go into Layer2 during command execution.Please enter Y to confirm:Checking Flash....Flash check successful. No errors in Flash
