Trellix IPS resources are governed by users with super user access; a super user is allowed to configure every resource and function in the system. Each shipped Central Manager is configured with one built-in super user account, including a default password.
Caution
The default super user account username is
nscmadminand password isadmin123. Trellix strongly recommends that you change the default super user password for security purposes. The new password must be at least 8 characters in length and must contain a combination of numbers, characters, and special characters.
