Without a way of ranking alerts in your environment, it is difficult for analysts to know which alerts to prioritize. Alert management assigns each alert a severity rating of informational, low, medium, high, or critical, and sorts the alerts table with the most recent alert at the top, so you can identify the alerts you need to prioritize.
