Widgets are the primary components of custom dashboards. They allow you to create queries that run automatically at regular intervals and display results. You can create up to five widgets per custom dashboard.
Widgets have the following properties:
Property | Description |
|---|---|
Title | The name of the widget. You must give the widget a title. |
Description | An optional description of what the widget does. |
Visualization Type | How to display the results of your search query: table, pie chart, or bar chart. You must choose a type of visualization. |
Time Window | The period of time in which your query should search. |
Results | The number of results to display in the widget. |
Width | The horizontal size of the widget as a percentage of screen size. |
Search Query | The TQL query for the widget. A TQL query is required for a widget. Any TQL query that works in the Helix search bar will also work inside a widget. For more information about TQL queries, see the TQL Reference Guide. |
