To view details of managed endpoints, select Analysis → Virtual Machine.

Or,

select Devices → <Admin Domain Name> → Devices → <Cluster> → Summary. Click View VMs.

The Virtual Machines page opens which lists all the instances being protected by the Sensors in that Cluster.

Name Displays the name of the instance
vIPS Assignments Trellix Virtual IPS Protected Group — Displays the name of the vIPS Protected Group for the Virtual Probe

vIPS Cluster — Displays the name of the Cluster for the Virtual Probe

vIPS Controller — Displays the name of the Controller for the Virtual Probe

Virtual Probe State — Displays the state of the Virtual Probe to be online or offline

Version — Displays the software version of the Virtual Probe

Last Restart — Displays the date and time when the Virtual Probe was last restarted

Inspection Mode — Mode of inspection; displays either IPS or IDS

Instance State — Displays the state of the instance to be online or offline

Private IP — Displays the private IP address of the instance

Private DNS — Displays the private DNS of the instance

Public IP — Displays the public IP address of the instance

Public DNS — Displays the public DNS of the instance

ID — Displays the ID of the instance

Cloud Access — Displays the methods to access a Cloud account

Group — Displays the region of the instance

Cloud Provider — Displays the name of the cloud provider

OS — Displays the operating system of the instance

Last launch — Displays the date and time when the instance was launched

Domain — Displays the domain of the instance

Refresh the details of all the instances.
Search Enter the keyword to search the required instances.
Virtual Probe Installer You can download one of the following vIPS Probes:
  • Windows
  • Linux
Save as CSV Creates a .csv list of the list of Clusters

Note

  • It is recommended that you configure the Cloud account for each VM so that the public address and the private address of a instance are reflected correctly in the Virtual Machines page.
  • Information displayed for the instances may not be reflected immediately from AWS.
  • The Cloud account configured for the Controller should have sufficient access permissions to display the instances.
