Create a custom Respond integration

Custom Respond integrations allow you to integrate products with Helix that are not available in the Integration Hub. For more information, see Trellix Hyperautomation in Helix Connect and the Trellix Hyperautomation Product Guide.

To create a custom Respond integration:

  1. From the Main Menu Helix_MegaMenu.png select Integration Hub.

  2. On the Custom Integration tab, click Create Integration.

  3. Enter a name and optional description, and then click Create. A new tab opens in the Trellix Hyperautomation UI.

  4. On the Info tab, click Parameter and enter the following information:

    • Display Name: The display name of the parameter.

    • Name: The name of the parameter.

    • Description: A description of the parameter.

    • Type: Select an option from the menu.

    • Default Value: The default value for the Type.

    • Required: If the parameter is required.

  5. On the Info tab, click Adapter and select HTTP or SQL DB.

    • If you select HTTP, select an authentication type, enter the additional configuration parameters, and then click OK.

    • If you select SQL DB, select a database type, enter the additional configuration parameters, and then click OK.

  6. Click Publish.

  7. On the Configurations tab, click Add.

  8. Enter a name for the configuration.

  9. Use the default values for the parameters you added in Step 4, or enter new values and then click Next.

  10. Depending on which adapters you added in Step 4, enter the following information:

    1. For an HTTP adapter:

      1. Enter the URL of the integration.

      2. You cannot change the Auth Type. The value is what you defined in Step 5.

      3. Enter the remaining parameters. They are specific to the Auth Type you selected.

      4. Click Next.

    2. For an SQL DB adapter:

      1. Enter the host name in the host:port format.

      2. Enter a name for the database.

      3. You cannot change the Database Type. The value is what you defined in Step 5.

      4. To disable SSL, turn on the Disable SSL toggle.

      5. You cannot change the Auth Type. The only available value is Basic.

      6. Enter a username.

      7. Enter a password.

      8. Click Next.

  11. Select an Edge.

  12. Click Create.
