Custom dashboards let you create a personal workspace to display data you consider important. Instead of running a TQL query on the data manually, you can create a custom dashboard and run TQL search queries automatically to see the latest results.
To view all custom dashboards in your environment, navigate to Main Menu
> Dashboards > Custom. By default all custom dashboards are listed, and you can sort or filter the table by heading. To remove sort and filter specifications, click Reset All Filters.
The Custom dashboard pages shows the following information.
Property | Description |
|---|---|
Title | Each custom dashboard must be given a name. |
Description | An optional description giving an overview of what the dashboard does. |
Tags | Apply tags to the custom dashboard to help you organize and categorize them. You can search the table by tags to find custom dashboards. |
Widgets | A custom dashboard must include at least one widget. Widgets provide an easy way to automate your most frequently used or highest priority queries in Helix, for example you can add a widget to show the results of a TQL query in a table or chart. For more information, see Add widgets to a custom dashboard. You cannot publish a custom dashboard until at least one widget and a schedule are defined. |
Source | Who created the custom dashboard, Trellix or a user in your organization. |
Last Updated | The time that the custom dashboard was last updated. |
Owner | The user who created the custom dashboard. |
More Options | From here you can perform other tasks, for example clone, delete, or export the custom dashboard. |
